About Michael
Michael Dambold is a graphic designer who specializes in print, web and
illustration. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Michael has lived in numerous
states and has experienced a variety of cultures. He graduated from the
University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Visual Arts
Graphic Design, and a minor in Modern Languages Spanish. Michael has won
local and state awards for photography, poster design,
product design as well as several Louisiana Publication Association
awards for work he has authored in the print industry.
He has a great interest in middle-american cultures, having spoken Spanish for over 10 years.
Michael currently works as Senior Web Designer for Tulsa World, writes
for the British design website Design Juices, and has written for
other design sites such as
Colorburned
and local Louisiana lifestyle magazine
The Acadian. Michael was recently interviewed in
the October 2011 edition of Computer Arts Magazine.
He has worked with clients across the United States, and his current
major projects include an interactive application supported by multiple
platforms and several graphic novels.
